Ex-advertising executive, Cy Ynares, started  on a whim last November 2013 when he came back home from a 6-month long US vacation.
Backed-up with a Diploma in Pastry from ISCAHM and a deep love and appreciation for cooking and food, Cy took the plunge and decided to follow his dreams and start a small home-based, online bakery.
Initially, he started selling Date & Walnut Bars and Banana Muffins for Christmas but quickly got bored and decided to rethink his brand.
Three months later, after a late night craving for cookies, Cy decided to bake some cookies for himself and for a few of his friends and the rest was history.
Currently, the Bald Baker has seven mainstay cookie flavors – the Chocollow, Salted Caramel, Black Sesame Matchallow, Compost Cookie, Choco Chocollow, Orange Miso, and his new Milo Dinosaur and two seasonal flavors – White Chocolate & Cranberry Oatmeal and Oatmeal & Flaxseed. He also has a Chocolate Chip Banana Loaf on the menu, which is a crowd favorite.
