Kuya J, a beloved Filipino staple with humble beginnings in Cebu, launches another improved store design and new dishes as part of our brand promise – a five-star experience for a two-star price.
Kuya J Concept 4.0 is the restaurant chain’s evolution towards a modern dining ambiance that embraces modern Filipino interior design. This new version replaced previous wooden bookshelves with new, sophisticated bookshelves adorned with bespoke wooden accents true to Filipino craftsmanship. Other new architectural details include coffered walls, copper ceilings, arches, and solihiya – changes made to satisfy discerning diners with ever-evolving palettes towards a pleasant dining experience.
The restaurant chain’s event, “Dine in Style” held in Venice Grand Canal Mall on June 29, was graced by friends from the media, celebrities, and long-time Kuya J endorser, Mr. Jericho Rosales.
Over the past few years, Rosales evolved as a performer while staying true to his heart and soul in all his projects. Because of his evolution and authenticity, he remains a fitting face to represent Kuya J as the brand equally elevates itself in its respective industry.
He shares what he finds special about with Kuya J 4.0: “The way Kuya J has changed through the years is very much like the way I have changed as well; Kuya J has transformed its looks, and so have I. Kuya J has delivered new offers to Filipino diners, and I have delved into new paths as an artist and a performer. This marks an exciting new chapter for me and the whole Kuya J family.”
And, of course, the celebration wouldn’t be complete without the introduction of scrumptious new bidas. Guests got to savor the Crispy Bagnet Chips and Squid Sisig, which were recently launched on June 15. They also got to have an exclusive, first taste of new bidas, Crispy Pompano and Monggo sa Gata, which will be available in all locations on July 21.
Kuya J President Winglip Chang, explains the inspiration behind Kuya J 4.0: “Our new store design is more than just the style you see now. It’s a testament that we will continue to innovate through our menu and service to create the best dining experience for every Filipino diner.”
Group COO Roy Quejada also adds why this latest launch is important to the brand: “We believe that Kuya J’s new store design completes the elevated dining experience that we want to offer Filipino diners.”
