Bookie PH launches Biyahe Together as a project to offer open-dated travel vouchers, a percentage of the proceeds from which will go to several local fund drives. It is an initiative to reconnect people to the prospect of traveling again while benefiting locals in various destinations.
Amid the pandemic, movement has been highly restricted and with that came the longing for avid explorers to hop on to their next trip. While the world has been seemingly put to a pause, Bookie PH comes up with this project, where they sell Biyahe Passes to help the tourism industry bounce back while giving everyone something to hang on to as soon as travel becomes safe again.
For the whole month of August, travel vouchers to El Nido, Siargao, Ilocos and Batanes will be available for purchase and these will be valid for redemption for the whole of 2021.
Bookie PH has tapped select partner boutique lodges and tour operators with the aim of helping smaller businesses stay afloat at present. As an added incentive for those who purchase vouchers, part of the proceeds from these Biyahe Passes will be used to aid various causes in each destination through the help of different organizations.
With each Biyahe Pass sold, a traveler would be able to provide rice packs to local tours guides in El Nido through Waves for Water; aid in the regenerative farming project of Lokal Lab in Siargao; contribute to the start-up capital to the women of Ilocos Norte through the Menelea Womens Marketing Cooperative; and distribute food packs to displaced tour guides in Batanes.
Subsequently, Give Certificates may also be purchased and these serve as 100% donation to the aforementioned causes.
