Vibrant Visayas: Hundreds of members gather for YClub Mania Cebu

Over 500 weekend warriors came to blow off some steam joining the recently-concluded Visayas leg of the YClub Mania in HoopsDome Lapu-Lapu, Cebu, last August 13, 2023. 

The member-exclusive event conducted by Yamaha Motor Philippines featured a fun-filled afternoon for the 17 Visayas-based riding groups with a handful of friendly competitions, games, intermission numbers, food, and educational exercises. 

Just like its Luzon leg held last May 21st, the day started off with a lunch-time ride attended by the presidents and vice presidents of the accredited YMPH groups. 

The route began in Lantaw Il Corso and ended in HoopsDome, which signified the start of the day for the rest of members counting up to 575. 

YClub Mania started off with some 101s of proper behavior and safety guidelines among its riders followed by a mini raffle, before the Department of Tourism showed an overview of what a Visayas tour via just a motorcycle would look like. 

The fun continued with more raffle draws, mini games, and some free time to enjoy the snacks and booths around the place. 

Community motovloggers, IdolMoto and Motour Philippines, also graced the stage with a Q&A and a short lifestyle interview. 

To hype things up, rig designs by Visayan artists were showcased in the customized bike contest. 

Club Wars also featured a jersey design contest, with each group representative modeling their entree on the stage.

And to cap off the day, a Tiktok talent competition was joined by various groups led by their presidents. The contest featured dancers, stunts, and even singers. 

Anchored on its mission to provide something ‘More Than Just a Ride’ for its members, Yamaha Motor Philippines turned emotional with an inspirational video contest with participants sharing their stories to everyone else. 

With Luzon and Visayas leg now over, there’s nowhere to go but in Mindanao!
