Youth is the name, self-expression is the game.
That is exactly what Yamaha Motor Philippines wanted to show the world with the making of the brand-new season of its annual digital program, YRIDE.
Seeing life through the lens of the ever-creative social media generation represented by Ranz & Niana, Sharlene San Pedro, Agassi Ching, and Janeena Chan, the season 4 is all about approaching today with authenticity.
Launched over the last week of April, it features four episodes tackling topics from fashion, personal style, friendship, and self-discovery which will air every Friday in the Yamaha Philippines’ YouTube Channel.
From its origin of being a motorcycle vlog, YRIDE has evolved into a lifestyle show containing lessons found beyond two wheels.
During the YRIDE Season 4 Premiere event launch at the GreenSun Hotel in Makati, the stars made their appearances showing brave attitude joining games, trends, and even showcasing their talents to the community.
“When I saw the lineup [of episodes], I knew we were going to introduce motorcycling to the new generation,” YRide legacy Zach Lucero said.
Some Yamaha influencers and members of the press had the opportunity to meet and greet the stars, and hear about their experiences shooting the season.
First episode star, Janeena Chan shared pieces of advice in fashion and riding the Mio Fazzio: “It is a stunner, sobrang ganda niya at ng porma, it performs as great as it looks. For style advice, just have fun, fashion is a way to express yourself.”
From the male perspective, vlogger Agassi Ching shared how he conquered his fears during the filming of the second episode.
“It’s a very fun experience because the shoot gave me added confidence to try on new styles. It was my first time to ride, and it was fun, I wanted to try it for the longest time pero napipigil ako ng takot ko, pero ngayon ko narealize how different of an experience it is, yung feeling ng hangin na pumapalo sayo, kakaiba,” he said.
Meanwhile, celebrity Sharlene San Pedro took us to a friends’ day out in her fun-filled episode three.
“Ang gusto ko kasi, lahat ng pinuput out ko na contents, may mapupulot na maganda,” she shared. “Masaya ang experience na ‘to, kasi after ng pandemic, hindi masyado nakapagface-to-face kasi napapanood ko lang sila dati sa Tiktok, YouTube, ngayon sila na new-found friends ko.”
Lastly, the finale stars dancers Ranz & Niana was all about continuously exploring and having fun while at it.
Niana shared: “I’ve never ridden a motorcycle in my entire life, it was scary, but pretty fun. In this episode, we want to motivate people to come out of their comfort zone and try new things.”
“I’d like to think we’re blessed to share out our experiences and adventure to our growing community which serves an inspiration to them,” Ranz added.
With pilot episode Style Up! already out, there’s three more to watch out every Friday, 6 PM at Yamaha Motor Philippines’ YouTube Channel.
May 12 Episode 2 – Agassi Ching
May 26 Episode 3 – Sharlene San Pedro
June 9 Episode 4 – Ranz & Niana
Don’t miss their adventures!
