ÀMEN, a local Filipina-led brand, makes fashion history after holding the first-ever Couture Mask Fashion Show in the world! It was such an awe-inspiring event attended by influencers, celebrities, bloggers, the media, and more! We loved seeing everyone glammed up with their masks. Here are some of our favorite looks from the night:
Patricia Henson perfectly matched her ÀMEN mask with a beautiful baby blue cut-out dress. With her hair down and a simple make-up look, she looked stunning!
LOVE! HER! MAKE-UP!
Bricia Paragas was a definite head-turner during the event with her beautiful make-up look that focused on her eyes. This look is also mask-perfect, we stan!
With purple sheer and sparkles, Frances Beltran’s outfit was magical! She paired it with a sparkly pink ÀMEN mask that completes her look. You see, even fairies need to be safe and stylish!
Debbie Then also kept her ÀMEN mask on and you can see how her beautiful embroidered mask made her classic outfit even more elegant. We also love how her necklace matched her mask!
Tysh Basa’s look for the show was so sleek yet sweet! Her combed-back hair paired with a see-through sleeved top gave her a daring vibe but her mask’s pastel flower design balanced the overall style, making her look lovely as ever!
Pauline Noelle proved that a white dress never goes out of style! Her tulle dress paired with the intricately beaded white ÀMEN mask splendidly made her look like the dream bride during the fashion show!
Cyndica Austria’s flower-embroidered ÀMEN mask plus her flower-patterned dress stood out after matching them with a black blazer. What a lewk!
Inah Estrada’s silk corset-esque top perfectly goes with her pastel-colored ÀMEN mask. Her rosy make-up tops off the sultry yet innocent vibe.
There’s something about shiny dresses and beads that make any outfit extra special. The colors of Julie Ann Lozada’s ÀMEN mask matched not just her outfit but even the setting of the photo (yes, we’re talking about her beautiful plants).
Pauline Mendoza looks like such a sweetheart with her chosen look. She paired her blue ÀMEN Mask with an orange top that perfectly complements it. We love the textures of her top as well – for some reason, we feel that the flowers on her mask match the ruffles on her top!
The hair. The eyebrows. The lashes. The earrings. The top. THE ÀMEN MASK. What’s not to love about Gelliemae Rivera Obeña’s overall look? We even love the vibe she exudes.
From girl boss to girl crush real quick, Maria Tanglao gave both gwapo and ganda vibes as she paired her elegant ÀMEN mask with a white suit and gold accessories. Her hairstyle also suits the look perfectly.
And last but not least, we have Jessica Yang as the night’s best-dressed beauty!
The colors match so well. Her breastplate is GORGEOUS, her gold skirt and gold accessories are so glam, and pairing them with her ÀMEN mask is just PURE PERFECTION.
JESSICA LOOKED EXTRAORDINARILY BEAUTIFUL!
There were so many beautiful women in attendance and everyone got the chance to see the exquisite mask designs that are part of ÀMEN’s new collection, as well as listen to the stories of the strong women who inspired them. Some even won life-coaching sessions (yay for personal development!).
Each of their mask designs was inspired by stories of women from all around the world who have walked before us and with, that have gone through obstacles and limitations in their lives yet emerged victoriously. Janeena Chan, Joyce Pring, and Joy Mendoza — who each had masks named after them, also personally shared their stories of how they moved their lives from point A to point B through the grace of God.
What made the event even more unique was how ÀMEN presented their designs: their models were pushed through the runway, enclosed in glass with only their heads seen. Imagine museum busts, but with real people inside wearing eye-catching headpieces and intricately sewn fashion masks. It was eccentric yet charming!
The masks aren’t just for fashion, they’re for protection, too. The pieces have passed the 4 Crucial Safety Tests: (1) Breath Test, (2) Light Emission Test, (3) Water Repellant Test, and the (4) Particle Suction Test. And for added protection, each purchase comes with 10 sheets of PureMASQ filters!
