BACK ON TRACK: YAMAHA MOTOGP STARS RETURN TO THE PHILIPPINES!

Power duo Fabio Quartararo and Franco Morbidelli are set to grace the racetracks of Clark International Speedway this March 04, 2023 as moto giant Yamaha holds The Apex Arrival for Filipino fans. 

With the growing community and fandom of MotoGP in the country, Yamaha aims to give the best experience with a special track day for fans to witness the stars in action.

Get to know the star-studded guests: 

Nicknamed as the ‘El Diablo’, Quartararo easily rose to fame when he begun joining the Grand Prix. He entered the Moto3 class at just 15 years old. The French national was highly-anticipated by aficionados of the sport, and was considered a threat to his competitors having conquered the FIM CEV Moto3 Championships in 2013 and 2014. Fast forward to 2021, he brought back-to-back honors of becoming a World Champion, and being part of the prestige Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP team, following the footsteps of his hero Valentino Rossi. From his first victory with the factory team at just his second race, he went on to secure nine more podium finishes, including four victories, to seize the MotoGP World Championship Title at the Emilia Romagna GP.

Meanwhile, Franco Morbidelli, son of the esteemed Livio Morbidelli, didn’t have any trouble stepping out of his father’s shadows. Perhaps, he’s breathes and eats bike since he was two years old, when his dad built him his first-ever rig. Franco was very close to continuing his third season with Petronas Yamaha SRT in 2021, but it was cut short after he suffered a knee injury. Just last year, he made his timely comeback at the San Marino GP, his home circuit, and debuted with Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP in M1. 

Apart from the exciting events awaiting fans and athletes, an added treat of a raffle draw will be held with the prize of all-expense paid trip to watch the Malaysia GP. As greatness arrives on our tracks, their presence will serve as an inspiration to aspiring Filipino riders who dream of being in the MotoGP.
