Only have one day—or just a few hours—in Cebu? Yup yup, that’s more than enough to see, eat, and do a whole lot, all in just one ride!

With the new GrabCar Travel Guide, discovering hidden gems around the city is now fast, easy, and way more fun. Whether you’re a local craving something new or a traveler on a short stopover, this is the 1-day Cebu travel guide you need.

Ride Your Way Around Cebu’s Hidden Gems

Once we landed in Cebu, we skipped mall-hopping or rushing through crowded tourist spots. Instead, we had a totally hassle-free day discovering the city’s lesser-known gems, all thanks to the GrabCar Travel Guide. Everything we needed was right in the app, and every stop felt like a hidden find only locals would know.

It’s simple, really. Just pop open your Grab app, tap the GrabCar icon, and scroll down to the Travel Guide. You’ll find curated categories like Chow Zones, Caffeine Corners, Thrill Trips, and even Staycation Hotspots. Pick your vibe, and your drop-off point is set! No overthinking, no stress.

Here’s what we did! If you need inspo for your own one-day Cebu adventure, this GrabCar Travel Guide route is a solid place to start.

Stop #1: CNT Lechon!

We kicked things off the right way—with a Cebu classic! CNT Lechon didn’t disappoint. That juicy, crispy skin? Chef’s kiss. No fuss, no frills, just pure, flavorful lechon the way locals love it. Of course, we had it with puso (hanging rice), because what’s a Cebu meal without it?

Stop #2: Bloq Café by Third Wave Coffee.

After that hearty meal, we needed a little caffeine pick-me-up. So we headed to Bloq Café, this artsy, low-key coffee spot that felt like a creative hideaway. We chilled out with some iced drinks and snacks while soaking in the cozy vibe. Definitely a cool-down spot worth bookmarking.

Stop #3: Atua Midtown

This was a total hidden gem. Atua Midtown is like Cebu’s artsy secret alley with murals, installations, and pop-ups all in one spot.

We walked around, snapped photos, and even found some handmade souvenirs. It’s the kind of place where the city’s creativity really shines through!

Stop #4: Kartzone.

Feeling a little adventurous, we made our way to Kartzone. Zooming around the track had us laughing the entire time was such a fun way to break up the chill stops. Who knew you could get that kind of adrenaline rush right in the middle of the city?

Stop #5: Casa Verde.

We had dinner at Casa Verde, a well-loved Cebu resto known for its generous portions and comfort food. Their baby back ribs are legendary, and the cozy setting made for the perfect slow-down after a packed day.

Stop #6: Above the Corner.

We capped off our Cebu day with a nostalgic bang at Above the Corner! Think retro video games, neon lights, and just the right dose of friendly competition. It’s the perfect way to unwind and let your inner kid take the wheel.

Bonus Morning Stop: Pawns & Pixels.

If you’re starting your day earlier or planning a day-after hangout, Pawns & Pixels is the move. This board game café has billiards, console setups, and endless games to choose from, all with a full menu of eats and drinks to keep you going.

Bonus Lunch Stop: Pungko Pungko sa Fuente (If You’ve Got More Time!)

Got a few more hours to spare? For a true Cebuano lunch experience, pungko-pungko is a must. It’s a casual street-side setup where you squat (pungko) and dig into deep-fried local favorites like ginabot (crispy pork intestines), lumpia, and longganisa with vinegar on the side and no utensils required. Messy? A bit. Worth it? Absolutely!

Why We Loved This Route

We didn’t just go around, we went around smart! With everything laid out in the GrabCar Travel Guide, we got to enjoy Cebu without spending time figuring out where to go or how to get there.

All it took was one app and one ride to hit multiple hidden gems around the city. If you’re not into complicated plans and just want a fun, easy way to explore, this is it.

So if you’re stuck wondering what to do in Cebu 2025 edition, this is your sign: ride your way around Cebu in 1 day and find your own favorite stops!
