What better way to announce its return to the big crowd than having its members make noise? Yamaha Philippines just successfully held the first leg of YClub Mania in Filinvest Tent, Alabang last May 21, graced by over 1,000 attendees.
The Luzon leg of YClub Mania had seen a jam-packed day full of action, fun and games, entertainment, and informative presentations provided by Yamaha Philippines.
While the event started around 10:00 AM, it was an earlier head start for the officers as they came together for a quick ride from YZone Mandaluyong to the heart of the south.
Presidents, VPs, and club representatives met as early as 6:00 AM to begin their journey –a first one in three years.
“It was a short ride but very exciting since the pandemic ito yung first time na nagka-sama sama kami ng officers,” Club SZR PH President Cherry Mendoza shared to DiscoverMNL.
Danny Cayabyab, FB16 Club PH President continued: “Pagka-Yamaha tumawag sayo, talagang an hour before andun ka na kasi pag Yamaha kasama mo talagang yung mga na experience nakukuha mo unforgettable talaga, at passionate ang mga kasama mo.”
The exclusive gathering also served as the event briefing for the member attendees later in the day.
Registered groups such as NMAX Philippines Touring Club, Club SZR PH, FZ16 Club PH, Yamaha Mio Gear PH, Team Mio Soul PH, Sniper155 Riders Club PH, and Aerox Club PH, took delight in the activities and interactive booths during the day.
Each club also prepared its cheer to hype up its representatives for dance contests, jersey design competitions, and group games.
Yamaha 1 Vice President Junnel Martinez shared how gatherings as such can be meaningful for his team members.
“Ibang-iba yung excitement. It is very unique with the brand itself kaya laging inaasam-asam ng members na magkasama sama ulit, from one club to another, nagkakaroon ng camaraderie,” he said.
Mendoza added: “Yamaha ang bukod tanging brand who do these kinds of events, that’s why I am proud to be part of this.”
Personalities and officers were also given the time to conduct educational talks reminding riders of their safety on the road.
Cash prizes, gift certificates, and exclusive items were given away to raffle and game winners throughout the event.
It was an eight-hour fun for the members as they got to meet new fellow enthusiasts and create a bond with other riders.
For Yamaha Motor Philippines, though, they’re just getting started. Watch out for the Visayas and Mindanao legs of YClub Mania!
