It’s a double-day celebration for Yamaha Motor Philippines with the release of the new Sniper 155 during the FASTFEST 2024, last May 4 to 5, at the Seaside Blvd, Mall of Asia.

The updated colorway of the Sniper 155’s ‘speed brother’, Mio Aerox, is also introduced during the event.

Filled with music, games, and conversations, the event showcased having fun under the sun, the Yamaha Motor Philippines’ way.

Passersby enjoyed an open stage setup with the ‘Blu Is Fast’ product displays of the different colorways of the new Sniper155 models, including the Sniper 155R with ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System), Aerox and ARRC race bikes replica.

A Moto Trainer simulator is also available for usage to let the participants experience a taste of what it’s like to like and compete in MotoGP.

A few blocks away is the Test Ride Area, an assembled circuit setup where patrons can register and test ride units of new Sniper155 and Aerox for free, guided by the Yamaha Racing Academy crew.

Over 400 participants registered, lined up, and waited for their turn to try.

And to welcome the sunset, host Rico Robles led a short but energetic program beginning with a song number by Pinoy hiphop sensation and brand ambassador Nik Makino, serenading the crowd at the SM by the Bay.

Followed by a few words from Yamaha Motor Philippines executives before the Yamaha Racing trio Mckinley Kyle Paz, Gian Mauricio, and April Mascardo joined in to share their personal experiences with the new Sniper155.

A combination of greater acceleration, light, and agility in handling, the new Sniper 155 was lauded as one of the brand’s best models to date.

And to end the program with the bang, Makino sang the new Yamaha Racing theme song, ‘Creating Champions’ which will be soon released to the public in various music platforms such as Spotify and YouTube among others.
