With travel seeing a steady resurgence, Sunlight Air is ecstatic to bring passengers to one of the Philippines’ most sought-after island destinations, Siargao. Last October 31, 2022, Siargao was added to Sunlight Air’s roster of routes which include Manila, Clark, Coron, Puerto Princesa, San Vicente, Camiguin and Caticlan. The airline is scheduled to fly to the destination twice weekly every Mondays and Fridays. To celebrate this new route with their frequent and new fliers, Sunlight Air prepared a lounge event for travelers to enjoy on October 28, 2022.

As some may know, Sunlight Air has a history with Siargao Island. On December 19, 2021, Siargao was devastated by Typhoon Odette. As soon as the skies were clear, Sunlight Air was one of the first airlines who cooperated with the LGU in bringing relief goods and medical personnel to Siargao. The airline also brought stranded tourists and Siargao residents to and from the island. Today, an entire year later, Siargao has finally recovered and is more than ready to welcome tourists to its pristine shores once more.

Some of Siargao’s must-visit destinations include Guyam Island, Naked Island, Daku Island, and many more. Additionally, surfing is also a popular activity in the island and tourists can look forward to the various restaurants and cafes with delicious and colorful cuisines can be found on every corner of Siargao.

Sunlight Air is a boutique airline based in Manila. The airline flies avid travelers to various island destinations within the country including Coron (Busuanga), Camiguin, San Vicente, and Boracay (Caticlan) and soon, Siargao. Flights are exclusively chartered by Asia Pacific Travel.
