Sports superstars activate their ‘toughness’ at Yamaha Mio Gear Playground Cebu Leg

EVEN the toughest need some tuning up too.

And what better way to loosen those muscles up than to grace the fitness enthusiast’s dream playpen in Yamaha’s Mio Gear Playground?

A supplement to the Metro Manila meet, the #PlayYourTough Cebu Leg held last June 17 to 18 presented its own kind of show with the appearance of several sports superstars to jumpstart the free-for-all event for Visayas aficionados.

During the first day, Gilas stalwarts Jayson Castro, Paul Lee, and Kevin Alas had a faceoff with the basket-vloggers coach Mavrick Bautista and the Mavs Phenomenal 3×3 team.

Both teams also showed hot handles with a shoot-out and on-court obstacle relay, joining the fans and registered participants.

Hence, a different kind of tough was brought about by Spartan PH with its obstacle box filled with six physical challenges, which social media sensation and beauty queen Emmanuelle Vera tried during her visit.

The United VisMin OCR community turned heads with their competitive plays led by coach Kenneth Jay Gariando who was, later on, hailed the champ.

And Yamaha cannot miss out on the most thriving esports play with a Mobile Legends tourney with the region’s best teams, the LV Dragons and Crimson Esports.

With just their phones, several fans created their own teams to be able to compete and win at the ML arena.

The Yamaha Mio Gear Playground mirrored a ‘street’ concept to connect to its roots of the vehicle being the brand’s most adaptable collection to this date.
