Following their sold-out show last April, Oro Cultura, the newest art community in the metro, successfully held Adhika Vol. II–their second event of the season–at The Giving Cafe (T.G.C.) in A. Mabini, Mandaluyong City last Saturday, June 28, 2025.
Adhika Vol. II featured a piano and violin quartet performance by the Blue Symphony Orchestra, with a setlist specifically curated for guests attending the intimate candlelit event. Upon entering the venue, guests were greeted by the quaint and authentic ambiance of The Giving Cafe, an ancestral house turned into a cafe in Mandaluyong City, as well as the cozy yet striking venue fragrancing by LUMI Candles PH.
Just like in Adhika Vol. I, guests enjoyed the featured free-flowing local wine from Proudly Promdi: the Bielma Bugnay Fruit Wine, a crowd favorite from Adhika Vol. I–a testament to Oro Cultura’s vision of strengthening local brands through long-term collaborations.
With the beauty of Blue Symphony Orchestra’s music, the guests experienced magic firsthand. Louis, Oro Cultura’s Creative Director, shared that while Adhika offers the perfect opportunity for people to connect with artists, it is also a platform to celebrate stories and identities–through music.
Though Oro Cultura recently concluded the second iteration of Adhika, the team has been preparing for Adhika Vol. III, slated for July 19, 2025 at The Giving Cafe (T.G.C.), A. Mabini, Mandaluyong City. Still featuring the musicians from the Blue Symphony Orchestra.
Adhika marks only the beginning of Oro Cultura’s mission to craft immersive events that champion local artists and collaborate with homegrown businesses to foster meaningful community spaces. The team looks forward to creating more gatherings that inspire Filipino pride, creativity, and culture.
