Reaching the ‘City of Golden Friendship’, Yamaha Motor Philippines made sure to leave its mark through the recently-concluded Mio Gear Playground in SM Cagayan De Oro Downtown Premier.
Held last July 22-23, 2023, the CDO version of the long-running event featured the archipelago’s best talents in e-sports, obstacle course racing, and exhibition basketball.
And to make things more exciting, experts in the respective fields also graced the stage to give the fans an unforgettable show.
Former PBA star Ranidel De Ocampo and Rain or Shine big man Beau Belga threw some action on the ringside as veteran courtside reporter Rizza Diaz hosts.
United Vis-Min ambassadors also put on a show in the obstacle box inspiring watchers to try on the challenge for prizes.
Of course, different versions of the Yamaha Mio Gear product displays are available all around the venue for public viewing and feel.Â
Pro esports players Bigboys Champion and Octorian Gaming did a big screen showdown and invited fans to form groups and play with them in the Mobile Legends arena.
Homegrown performers Xstatic Dancers energized the crowd with a tough performance as well.
Hundreds came to witness the two-day #PlayYourTough event, completing the Mio Gear Playground tour by Yamaha Motor Philippines.
This followed the Metro Manila leg in Mall of Asia last May, and the Cebu leg in SM Cebu in June.
The Yamaha Mio Gear Playground mirrored a ‘street’ concept to connect to its roots of the vehicle being the brand’s most adaptable collection to this date.
