It is officially the festive season as Forbes Travel Guide 2017 Five Star award winner, Marco Polo Ortigas Manila, unraveled its sweet Christmas celebrations with the lighting of its Chocolate-inspired Tinsel Town Christmas tree.

Held last November 21 at the hotel’s sky lobby, the gathering was welcomed with the voices of Sisters of Mary Boystown choir group with a set of Christmas carols.

Guests were then greeted by event host, Janeena Chan, and the Hotel’s General Manager, Frank Reichenbach, who welcomed corporate clients, in-house guests, and media partners for gracing the event.

Just as the season of giving is around the corner, the hotel unveiled its Wings of Hope, a tree of Philippine Eagle stuffed toys. Children from its partner charity, Riversprings School of Jesus Loves the Little Children Foundation, were in attendance to receive the first eagle stuffed toys from generous benefactors. Together with celebrities, Christine Bersola-Babao and Julius Babao, the Wings of Hope tree was unveiled which aims to save and preserve the Philippine Eagle, at the same time bring a smile to less fortunate kids, for just Php 600.

Guests were then delighted with a dance performance from the kids of Riversprings School, consisting of nine pre-schoolers. It was then followed by the lighting of the 25-feet Chocolate-inspired Tinsel Town Christmas tree by Pasig City Mayor Robert Eusebio along with Mr. Samuel Po and the hotel’s General Manager, Mr. Frank Reichenbach, together with the RIverspring School kids, which brought a magnificent glow for the festive season.
