HOW TO MAKE PARASITE’S CHAPAGURI AKA RAMDON

MAKE YOUR OWN ‘CHAPAGURI’ AKA ‘RAM-DON’

The ‘Chapaguri’ is a mix of 2 Korean noodles: Nongshim’s Chapagetti — a ramen type noodle, and Neoguri — an udon type noodle.

It’s also called as ‘Ram-don’ which is a mash up of “ramyun” and “udon”.

The Chapaguri AKA RAM-DON was made popular in the Oscar-winning movie ‘Parasite’.

So, have your fix of this world-famous noodle dish. Here’s what you need:

Ingredients:

  1. 1 pack Chapaghetti
  2. 1 pack Neoguri (Hot & Spicy)
  3. 1,100 ml of water

Let’s start!

STEP 1

Boil 1,100 ML of water with the vegetable mix of both Chapagetti and Neoguri

STEP 2

Wait for the water to boil then add both Chapaghetti and Neoguri NoodlesSTEP 3

After 4 minutes and 30 seconds, strain the noodles but keep 20 tablespoons (150ml) of noodle water

STEP 4

Add the WHOLE pack of Chapaghetti soup base and seasoning oil and HALF (1/2) of the Neoguri soup base. Mix and simmer for 30 seconds

STEP 5

Remove from heat and serve. The movie version is served with steak, so feel free to add any type of meat you like.
