Sierra Madre Cycle Company (SMCC) is an e bicycle company based in Pasig, Philippines. Located right at the foothill of the Sierra Madres, the company draws inspiration from the protective mountain range spanning the northern Luzon island.
Current product offerings include the Wombat, an 18kg 250 watt foldable e bike, which can range up to 80km on pedal assist and the Rusa, a 500 watt mountain bike which sports a removable battery and Shimano parts, capable of 90km in range.
Both bikes feature throttle accelaration, enabling a quick get away from sticky situations. The bikes use a normal PH plug and can reach full charge in about 4-5 hours, making charging fast and easy. Using the SMCC on the daily commute will certainly prove beneficial both economically and health wise.
