What started as a small coffee cart with the hope of creating space for meaningful connections has grown into something much bigger than coffee. To mark its first anniversary, Silya Coffee created SIMULAN 2026—a community pop-up that gives 20+ start-up brands a free space to launch, connect, and grow alongside one another.
With the help of its event sponsors, the team was able to cover the booth fees, removing one of the biggest barriers many small businesses face when joining a market and making it easier for new brands to take their first step.
The name SIMULAN comes from the Filipino word for “beginning.” More than a market, it’s an invitation to take the first step, whether that’s starting a business, pursuing a dream, learning a new skill, or simply showing up.
“We know what it’s like to start small,” shared the Silya Coffee team. “A year ago, we were just beginning too. We’ve experienced God’s faithfulness through every season and through the people He’s brought into our lives. This anniversary became an opportunity not just to celebrate that, but to share what God has so generously given us with others who are also just beginning.”
Visitors can discover newly launched brands, enjoy specialty coffee, matcha, and baked goods, join creative workshops, listen to live music, and more. Whether you’re starting something new or simply looking to support someone who is, SIMULAN is for you.
Admission is free and open to everyone.
