Manila, Philippines, October 21, 2025 – DiscoverMNL officially launched its first-ever #DiscoverMNLClub event in partnership with Primal Brew Coffee and Roastery and Eastwood City, marking the start of a new chapter for the DiscoverMNL Community.
The debut event, a Coffee Sensory Workshop, was held at the 4th Floor, CityWalk Mall – Food Park, Eastwood City, and gathered coffee lovers, home brewers, and curious enthusiasts for an intimate, hands-on experience designed to deepen their understanding of coffee from taste and aroma to overall sensory appreciation.
The workshop was facilitated by Jancy Kilayco, founder of Primal Brew Coffee and Roastery, who guided participants through a flavorful and interactive learning journey featuring:
- Basic Taste Sensory – exploring the five fundamental tastes and how they appear in coffee
- Scent Sensory Activity – identifying aromas that define different beans and roast profiles
- Coffee Cupping Workshop – sampling and evaluating various coffee origins through professional cupping methods
Participants came from diverse backgrounds but were all united by curiosity and their shared love for coffee. The session concluded with lively conversations, community sharing, and the comforting aroma of freshly brewed cups filling the venue.
As a token of completion, each participant received a personalized certificate at the end of the workshop, recognizing their participation in the first-ever DiscoverMNLClub experience.
