What do you like most about being a bartender? This career path challenged me a lot in being more creative and flexible. I love the atmosphere and competitiveness. I love being a bartender because it brings out the best in me and I can be myself whenever I’m at my bar.
What’s your favorite cocktail and why? Margarita. I love the citrus flavor of lime. When you sip it together with salt, it balances the bitterness while heightening the sweetness and sourness of the cocktail.
What’s your favorite Diageo Spirit and why? Old but gold, Johnnie Walker Black Label. You can have it for any occasion! Cheers for more years of this spirit!
Which bartender do you look up to the most and why? Mr. Dennis Dungca, our Assistant F&B Director at Swissotel. They say a bartender will always be a bartender at heart, and I’m truly moved and inspired by this man. His passion for bartending is one of a kind, his creations of ideas and his cocktails are truly amazing!

Which is your dream bar to visit? Re in Sydney, Australia. Back in 2021, I read an article about “the world’s permanent bar build on waste” and I was ‘WOW’ by the idea. And we in Swissotel, we support sustainability!
