  • What do you like most about being a bartender?
    Being able to express myself in the drinks I create and meeting all sorts of people. I’m able to calm my mind (with nonstop thinking!) whenever I know their stories.
  • What’s your favorite cocktail and why?
    Gerry Swizzle. Not a classic but a signature from my former company. It is made of Tequila, Lime and Pomegranate Pepper Syrup. I like how the pepper enhances the flavor of tequila making it strong yet fruity and well-balanced. And with proper dilution of the crushed ice, it’s my perfect drink for a very hot day.
  • What’s your favorite Diageo Spirit and why?
    Whisky! Out of all the Johnnie Walkers I’ve tried; Double Black is my favorite. It hits my taste buds differently. The oakiness and delicate flavor of it is its unique character. I like it served neat or with ice.
  • Which bartender do you look up to the most and why?
    Matthias Giroud who is a Head Mixologist from Paris. I met him and worked with him in Buddha Bar. I saw his passion when he creates something and up until now, he keeps going and learning everything new in our industry. Its amazing! I wish to work with him or someone like him again soon.
  • Share with us your favorite memory of being a bartender
    My favorite memory of being a bartender was when I gave my guest a great drink that made him wonder about the ice, which was a Blue Pea Ice. He kept on asking what the blue ingredient was in his drink! That’s when I was able to share my knowledge with my colleagues.
  • Which is your dream bar to visit?
    The Aviary. I’ve heard of it through my husband and he even bought a book.
